Excellent product. Very happy with the purchase. Packaging was good n was delivered on time.
Tips: 1.make sure you spread a layer of sand before placing the charcoal. This will prevent from damage due to excess heat.
For trial I used the coal which came with this, it might be tricky thing to lit it up but yes, charcoal is also good.
Over all a great product, will be good for a gathering of 5-6 ppl.. You can buy extra skewers n extra charcoal if you want to increase the number.
Go for it. I brought the stainless version.

My first barbeque grill. It’s decent. Metal sheet is medium thick. Around 6 -7 inch deep. The grill and skewers are of good quality. Legs are strong enough to hold 2kgs of coal.
Please use a layer of sand and a layer of aluminum foil before adding hot coal. The last few pictures I posted are of after first use, there was no burning of paints because coal and foil acts as insulator and prevents from damaging paint.
To use it for around 3 hours I had to use 2 kgs of coal. I used a chimney barbeque starter and illuminated the coal within 5 minutes over gas. Buy one if you are planning to use it frequently. It really helps. You can add new coals over already burning ones and use a hand fan to ignite them. Also i have not used the coals given with the grill as most of the review revealed they are not good. I used normal wood coals available for 40Rs kg in the market. You even can ignite a few on the gas, place them in the grill and use a hair dryer to ignite other coals around them. Don’t heap too much ignited coal in one place, distribute them.
I bought a few extra skewers and also bamboo skewers as 5 skewers are not enough. I made chicken tikka, malai kabab, hariyali kabab, grilled prawns, achari paneer, sheekh kabaab and grilled pineapple. All came out perfect. It’s better to use it in a bit open environment to disperse the smoke.
My only complain is with the fitting of the grill. It doesn’t slide properly. While it’s hot, it’s difficult to remove or adjust.
Overall a good product. It’s not for commercial use, but for home use it’s fine.

Why did I purchase it?
Ans: Its size is adequate for small family. Cost is low. 5 skewers are enough. Skewers sit on top of charcoal tray without requiring extra support and no need to set grill tray first to adjust skewers (in short length of skewers is similar to the width of charcoal tray). Grill tray would not move during use because it goes inside the charcoal tray and so it gets placed well avoiding any chance of getting separated from charcoal tray. Height is also not bad.
What is my first experience?
Ans: I purchased charcoal chimney starter in order to avoid lighting charcoal in the charcoal tray.
I seasoned the charcoal tray before cooking.
Seasoning:
● Burn coal separately.
● Prepare a 3 cm. base of salt or sand onto charcoal tray.
● Flatten the base well and place three layers of aluminium foil on it.
● Add burning charcoal (flames should not be there).
● Add some pieces of wood and let them catch fire.
● Now leave it until there is only ash in the charcoal tray.
● Let the charcoal tray cool down. Remove foil with ash, save the salt or sand for next uses, and secure the foil and do not wash.
● Use cloth to just wipe. Do not use water.
● Now it is seasoned for cooking food.
Seasoning is necessary to burn any chemical that is used during manufacturing. Chemical gets burnt and emits toxic fumes that can poisoned our food if we cook anything without seasoning charcoal tray.
Follow the process or system, the product would not disappoint. However, there is no guarantee for anything. But, we could reduce the chance of some undesired happenings.
Do wash with soap and water the skewers and the grill tray only.

This mini tandoor is sturdy, very easy-to-use and portable. It can be lit in the balcony of the apartment. 5 skewers are enough for a party of four. The steel grill-rack is strong and large enough for large pieces of chicken/ whole pomfrets/paneer chunks. With the right layering I believe that it will last long. There is no assembling required.

It’s a good portable barbeque. It is sufficient for 4-5 people, easy to carry and store. Quality of the product is also nice (not great). Skewers are good with wooden handle. The gap between the coal and grill is less I feel. We prepared paneer tikka, cooked properly. Since the barbecue is not made up of heavy metal so before using it spread good amount of sand on the base of the barbecue then put coal it will provide good insulation and heat will not dissipate. Satisfied with the product.
